The Board of Health hereby establishes a special
fee to be paid by applicants for permits or plan approval under review
by the Board of Health under MGL c. 41, §§ 81S and
81U. The purpose of these special fees, as stipulated in Chapter 593
of the Acts of 1989, is to provide the Board of Health with funds
to hire outside consultants as needed to carry out the Board's legal
responsibilities in reviewing the plan. The fee shall be 1% of the
anticipated cost of the proposed project.
