a.

No building permit for any proposed new residence
or other building requiring the installation of a water supply system
may be issued in the township until the Board of Health shall have
certified that the proposed water system will comply with the requirements
of the Act and any regulations promulgated thereunder.

No building permit for any proposed addition to a structure
on a lot currently serviced by an existing individual water supply
system (well) may be issued in the Township until the Board of Health
shall have certified compliance with the requirement of this ordinance.

Wells must be located a minimum distance of 20 feet from a structure
and any addition to a structure.

If an existing well is located less that a distance of 20 feet
from an existing structure, the addition may not reduce the distance
between the existing structure and the existing well.

Every application for certification by the Board
of Health shall be in writing and shall include appropriate engineering
information and dates and must be supported by a signed statement
by a duly qualified person that the proposed water system is in compliance
with the Act and regulations thereunder.

Any water system installed in violation of the
provisions of the Act is declared to be a nuisance subject to abatement
by court order, and any person or corporation installing a water supply
system without complying with the Act, regulations thereunder or the
terms and conditions of any application as approved by the Board of
Health shall be subject to a penalty for each offense, and such person
may be required to cease all work upon such system forthwith.
