Any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as a municipal civil infraction, as set forth in Chapter 59, Municipal Civil Infractions, of the Code of the Village of New Haven. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist or does in fact exist shall constitute a separate offense. The imposition of any sentence shall not exempt the offender from compliance with the requirements of this chapter and such further action as the Village shall take with respect to said violation in Macomb County Circuit Court or elsewhere as authorized by law.
