A violation of this chapter or any part or section
thereof is hereby declared to be an offense, punishable by a fine
not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment not exceeding 15 days, or both.
Where it is provided that a violation of this chapter or any part
or section thereof shall impose a penalty or forfeiture, the Town
Board may maintain an action or proceeding in any court of competent
jurisdiction to collect such forfeiture or penalty and to compel compliance
with this chapter by injunction or in any other legal manner.
