GENERAL REFERENCES
Sale of City property — See Ch. 14.
Every motor vehicle or other article of equipment belonging to the City
shall have placed or stamped thereon an insignia indicating that it is the
property of the City.

All tools used in the care and maintenance of equipment and the equipment
itself which are issued, furnished and purchased by the City for the conduct
of daily business shall be kept in good repair and be the responsibility of
the employees to whom they are issued.

An inventory of the tools and equipment issued employees shall be kept
by department heads and an accounting made therefor at six-month intervals.

Upon the termination of services of an employee to whom tools and equipment
have been issued and in whose care and custody such has remained, said tools
and equipment shall revert to the City in the same condition as issued, reasonable
wear and tear excepted.

Any missing merchandise shall be replaced by the employee or the employee
shall pay to the City the replacement cost thereof.
