GENERAL REFERENCES

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or ride a skateboard, roller skates, roller skis or roller blades in any of the following places:
A. 
On any public property where signs are posted prohibiting such use, such as parking lots and Town of Southwick property.
B. 
On private property where a sign prohibiting such use has been posted by the owner, lessee or person in charge of the property.
Operators of skateboards, roller skates, roller skis or roller blades shall yield the right-of-way to other pedestrians using public sidewalks and shall not otherwise endanger or interfere with pedestrian traffic on those sidewalks.
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be fined $25 for each offense. This chapter may be enforced through and pursuant to the noncriminal disposition procedures set forth in Chapter 1, § 1-6, of the Code of the Town of Southwick.
