No parking shall be permitted at any time on
any fire lane, and no parking shall be permitted at any location which
would prevent access to any fire lane by any fire equipment. A lane
marking shall be placed on the pavement containing the words "fire
lane" or similar language to warn people against blocking the lane.
No person shall park a vehicle or let a vehicle stand on any fire
lane at any time, and no owner, manager or tenant of any premises
shall permit any customer or visitor to park any vehicle or permit
any vehicle to stand on any part of any fire lane at any time.
As used in this Article, the term "fire lane"
is defined to mean a part of a public parking lot, private driveway
or private road which is designated to provide access to fire trucks
to any building or location and which is marked as provided for above.
