Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, that the 1984 Edition
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Dorchester County, being Article 10 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of
the Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester County, is legalized. The
Code shall contain all public local laws relating to Dorchester County following
the 1985 regular session of the General Assembly of Maryland. The Code shall
be deemed and taken in all the courts of the state and by all public officials
of the state and of its several political subdivisions to be evidence of the
public local laws of Dorchester County in existence at the time of compilation.

Be it further enacted that the Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester
County shall make an appropriation to provide for the publication of this
Code, and the Board may provide for its sale and distribution.

Be it further enacted that this Act shall take effect July 1, 1985.

Be it enacted and ordained by the County Commissioners of Dorchester County that the 1984 Code of Ordinances and Resolutions of Dorchester County, being Part II, Administrative and General Legislation, Chapters 56 through 157 and Appendix, published under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester County and edited by General Code Publishers Corp., is hereby legalized. The Code of Ordinances and Resolutions shall contain all ordinances enacted by the Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester County subsequent to January 1, 1985, and contain such resolutions as the Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester County may, from time to time, direct. The Code of Ordinances and Resolutions shall be deemed and taken in all the courts of the state and by all public officials of the state and of its several political subdivisions to be evidence of the ordinances and resolutions of Dorchester County in existence at the time of compilation.
Be it further enacted that the Board of County Commissioners of Dorchester
County shall make an appropriation to provide for the publication of this
Code, and the Board may provide for its sale and distribution.
Be it further enacted and ordained by the County Commissioners of Dorchester
County that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

Be it further enacted and ordained by the County Commissioners
of Dorchester County that following adoption, this ordinance, certified by
the President of the County Commissioners and attested by the Administrative
Assistant to the Board, shall be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Dorchester County, who shall record the same as set forth in the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957), Article 25, § 4B (1984 Cumulative Supplement).

Following the aforesaid filing and recordation,
a fair summary of this ordinance shall be published one (1) time in at least
one (1) newspaper of general circulation in Dorchester County.
