A. 
Without permission from the Dorchester County Department of Public Works, it shall be unlawful for any person to set an open fire, or to maintain an open fire of any kind, within the right-of-way limits of any County road, bridge or upon any other County property.
B. 
A person who violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine of not more than $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding six months, or both.
