For the purposes of this chapter, words shall
have the same meaning and definitions as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40:55D-3,
40:55D-4, 40:55D-5, 40:55D-6 and 40:55D-7.

The Planning Board or the Planning Board acting
as a Board of Adjustment, as the case may be, shall hold a public
hearing on each application for preliminary site plan approval, in
accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-10. Notice of said public hearing
shall be given by the applicant in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-11
and 12.
