The Village of Cazenovia hereby assumes full responsibility, pursuant
to Labor Law § 472, for the enforcement of all provisions of Article
17 of the New York State Labor Law and the rules adopted thereunder, including
all inspections required thereunder.
The Village Clerk shall file a certified copy of this article with the
Commissioner of Labor at the New York Department of Labor, W. A. Harriman
State Office Campus, Building 12, Albany, New York 12240, within five days
after the adoption of this article.
The Village shall have all the powers of the Commissioner of Labor of
the State of New York in enforcing the provisions of Article 17 of the Labor
Law and all the rules adopted thereunder six months after the filing of a
certified copy of this article with the Commissioner of Labor or upon the
receipt of a certification of receipt of this article by the Commissioner
of Labor, whichever is earlier.
