The Village of Cedarhurst accepts payments by personal check to the
Village Clerk-Treasurer and assumes the risk of loss of moneys represented
thereby in the event of dishonor.
The Village of Cedarhurst shall not hold the Village Clerk-Treasurer
personally liable for dishonored checks unless there is misfeasance, malfeasance,
prior intent or knowledge with the acceptance of a bad check.
