There is duly created the office and title of Village Administrator of the Village of Cedarhurst.
The term of such office shall be concurrent with that of the Village Clerk-Treasurer.

For all purposes other than when required state law clearly provides otherwise, the office of Village Clerk-Treasurer shall, for village purposes, also be known as "Village Administrator."
Term of office. The term of office shall be annual in conformity with the annual fiscal year of the village, commencing as of April 1, and such Village Clerk-Treasurer shall be appointed annually and shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and the Board of Trustees.
Residence requirement. The Village Clerk-Treasurer shall be a resident of the County of Nassau.
The Village Clerk-Treasurer shall annually execute an oath of office and shall be bonded in such amount or penal sum as may be fixed, from time to time, by resolution of the Board of Trustees.
