No person owning, leasing, managing, conducting or operating any establishment within the village shall allow, permit or suffer the maintenance of gaming or amusement machines without first obtaining an annual license therefor as herein provided.
The Board of Trustees is hereby empowered to authorize the issuance of such license to the person applying therefore upon said applicant, giving the Board of Trustees details and particulars as may be required by it by a suitable application form.

An annual license fee shall be required for each of said machines, said license to commence June 1 and shall be renewable every June 1 thereafter. All licenses shall expire on the 31st day of May next succeeding the date of issuance thereof. Said fee amount shall be as set by the Board of Trustees by resolution of a majority vote of its members present at a Board meeting.[1]

Said licenses shall be granted only if the use of said licenses are a normal accessory, used in conjunction with a permitted business use and machines to be used for amusement purposes only. Said license shall permit no more than two games and/or machines on any location, and said permit shall govern only one location.
Gambling shall not be permitted nor shall any prizes or gifts be given in conjunction with the use of said machines.
A. 
Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be liable to a penalty set in accordance with Chapter 1, Article III, General Penalty.
B. 
In addition, the judge may revoke applicant's license and prohibit reapplication for such period as he or she may determine to be proper, not to exceed three years.
