No awning and no canopy shall be installed, repaired, modified or removed
except by a person duly authorized and licensed by the Village of Cedarhurst.
Every application for licensing shall be accompanied by a fee in an amount
which shall be set by resolution of the Board of Trustees. There shall be
an annual license fee for annual renewal thereafter, and said annual license
fee shall be set by resolution of the Board of Trustees. Such license shall
be renewable no later than May 31 of each year.
The owner of any building where an awning and/or canopy has been erected,
as well as the occupant thereof if not the owner, and the person installing,
repairing, modifying or removing any such awning and/or canopy shall be jointly
and severally liable and responsible for any and all violations of this article.
