There shall be elected a Treasurer for Hatfield
Township by virtue of Section 801 of the First Class Township Code,
Act of May 27, 1949, P.L. 1955, as amended,[1] said Township Treasurer being elected at the general elections
in 1957, to take office commencing January 2, 1958, for a four-year
term.

The Treasurer of Hatfield Township shall receive
compensation for his performance of duties as Treasurer and as Tax
Collector in the total sum of 1 1/4% of the total taxes collected
by him as Tax Collector. Payment of said compensation shall be at
such times during each calendar year as the Township Commissioners
may direct. Said total compensation shall never exceed statutory limits.
The duties and office shall be governed by §§ 801,
803, 804, 805, 806, 807 and 808 of the First Class Township Code,
Act of May 27, 1949, P.L. 1955 and as amended.
