[Adopted 5-4-1999 by Ord. No. 22-29]
As a condition of a required building permit,
and as a condition of having a requested inspection performed, all
buildings or lots upon which construction is being performed must
be continuously posted with the assigned street address number or
lot/unit number from the commencement of construction.
Any numbers posted to comply with the requirements
of this Part 5 must be posted and visible from the street to which
they are assigned. All such numbers shall be a minimum height of four
inches and be of sufficient contrast with any mounting or background
materials so as to be clearly visible from the street for a person
of normal vision.
Permanently affixed assigned street address
numbers must be conspicuously posted at the time of final inspection.
No certificate of occupancy or use and occupancy certificate shall
be issued until said numbers are posted in accordance with the terms
of this Part 5.
Each assigned street address number or a street
number range indicator must be posted at the driveway entrance from
the street or emergency access, and additional street numbers must
be posted on the buildings or driveways to the buildings so that each
street address of each building is obvious to all those entering the
driveway or private road.
All street numbers posted in accordance with
the provisions of this Part 5 shall be posted or otherwise mounted
so as to be visible from the direction of vehicular access.
