The Township hereby requires that all fire hydrants
hereafter located or installed within the Township shall be equipped
or installed with the following quick connect hydrant adapters and
caps to the satisfaction of the Township:
A.
Five-inch Storz permanent quick connect hydrant adapter,
two stainless steel set screws mounted approximately 180° apart,
watertight gasket composed of nitrile rubber, body to be composed
of 6061-T6 aluminum, and manufactured to mate with a blind cap to
provide a watertight seal.
B.
Five-inch Storz permanent quick connect hydrant adapter
blind cap, body to be 6061-T6 aluminum, attachment cable to be 0.125
inch vinyl-coated aircraft cable, twelve-inch long minimum, gasket
to be nitrile rubber cap must be manufactured to provide a watertight
seal with adapters listed above.
