The Board of Supervisors hereby approves an
amended cable franchise agreement negotiated with Blue Ridge Communications,
including all revised terms and conditions, including a franchise
fee of 5% and provisions requiring the submission of quarterly payments,
reports and audits from Blue Ridge Communications to Middle Smithfield
Township, and does hereby authorize the execution of the same.[1]

The Board of Supervisors authorizes renewal of the amended Cable
Franchise Agreement between the Township and Blue Ridge, executed
as of June 12, 2008, for an additional eight-year term, ending June
11, 2024. The remaining terms and conditions of the amended Cable
Franchise Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
