The Town Clerk, as soon as possible after a vote of the Town has been passed which relates particularly to or affects the duties of any officer, board, department, committee, commission, authority or trusteeship of the Town, shall furnish a copy of such vote to such officer, board, department, committee, commission, authority or trusteeship.
The Town Clerk shall promptly notify in writing each member of every committee who may be elected or appointed at any Town meeting or in pursuance of any vote thereof. Such notice shall contain a copy of the vote creating the committee and the names of all members of such committee. Whenever a vacancy occurs in the appointed membership of any board, committee, commission, authority or trusteeship, notice thereof shall at once be given to the Town Clerk, who shall thereupon notify the appointing authority.
The Town Clerk shall see that every conveyance to the Town of any interest in land, except as otherwise provided by law, is duly recorded in the proper registry therefor, and shall have the custody of all such recorded instruments after the same are returned from the registry. He shall keep in a book devoted to that purpose alone, true copies of all conveyances executed and delivered by the Town of any interest in land.
The Town Clerk shall promptly after each session of a Town meeting furnish the Comptroller with a statement of all monies appropriated by the Town at such session and the purpose for which such monies were respectively appropriated.[1]
