§ 110-1 Explosives. [1]

No person shall, without permission from the Mayor or the Board of Trustees, discharge any blast of gunpowder or other explosive materials in the streets or elsewhere within the Village or direct such a discharge or be an accessory thereto.

§ 110-2 Storage tanks for combustible liquids or gases. [1]

It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or replace any containers for the storage of fuel oil, gas or kerosene or other combustible liquid or gases above the surface of the ground, where such tanks or containers for a specific combustible liquid or gas exceed an aggregate of 1,050 gallons in capacity, on any one parcel of property; further, containers utilized for storage must be equipped with currently mandated safety devices appropriate to the size of the container.

A. With regard to any commercial storage of fuel oil, gas, kerosene or other combustible liquid which is stored above the ground, the fixed location utilized shall be subject to site plan review by the Planning Board.

B. Existing storage of fuel oil, gas, kerosene or other combustible liquid or gas above the surface of the ground shall be brought into compliance with this section within 120 days of enactment of this section.

§ 110-3 Building numbering. [1]

Each residence or other building facing any of the public streets, avenues or boulevards shall display in letters at least three inches high the number of such building as designated on the Official Plan on file in the office of the Village Clerk. Such number shall be displayed at the main entrance to the building or residence.

§ 110-4 Penalties for offenses.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant to the Penal Law and shall be punishable for each offense by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both.
