Two-hour parking zones are hereby established on Village streets as follows:

The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited for a period of longer than two hours between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except holidays.
A. 
The Chief of Police or his or her designee shall be responsible for the policing and supervision of two-hour parking zones in the Village.
B. 
Installation.
(1) 
Pavement markings shall be applied, where practicable, outlining parking spaces in the two-hour parking zones established in this article.
(2) 
No parking spaces shall be applied at or adjacent to locations where parking, standing or stopping is prohibited pursuant to § 1202 of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law or this chapter or other laws of this Village where parking spaces are in conflict with such prohibition.
