By virtue of § 7-728 of the Village
Law, the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Fayetteville
has authorized the Planning Board to approve plans of a subdivision
or resubdivision of land, with or without streets or highways. Such
approval shall be in accordance with the procedures and regulations
set forth below and is prerequisite to the filing of any plats for
the subdivision or resubdivision of land, as defined herein, in the
office of the Onondaga County Clerk. Subdivision approval in accordance
with this chapter shall be a prerequisite to the issuance of any building
permit or certificate of occupancy for construction or use of subdivided
land or land the development of which requires site plan approval.
