No person shall hunt, or attempt to take deer
or any other wildlife with either firearm or bow and arrow or attempt
to take deer or any other wildlife with any trap or snare device within
the city limits.

The hunting, trapping, or cause of harm to the serpent termed
the Seneca Lake Monster or any of its descendants is prohibited. No
person shall use any City facility, including access points to Seneca
Lake on City shorelines, to launch a hunting or trapping party aimed
at killing, trapping, or injuring the Seneca Lake Monster or any of
its descendants. Possession of the carcass of said creatures, or of
any live creature meeting this description, will be considered presumptive
evidence of a violation of this section.
A violation of any of the provisions of this
chapter shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment
not exceeding 15 days, or by both said fine and imprisonment. Each
day any such violation shall continue shall constitute a separate
violation.
