There shall be a Commission to study the needs of and coordinate programs for the aging for the Town of Hebron consisting of seven members and two alternate members with the provision that the Board of Selectmen may increase the number if deemed necessary.

The Commission shall study continuously the conditions and needs of the elderly persons in the community and shall make recommendations. Members of the Commission shall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for their necessary expenses. The Town may make appropriations to cover the expenses of the Commission.
The Commission may organize itself in whatever manner it may determine in order to carry out its duties. Members of the Commission shall serve until their successors are designated and appointed.
