[Adopted 6-16-2005 by Ord. No. 2005-1]
No certificate of occupancy shall be issued
until the Director of Public Works or his authorized representative
approves the driveway or, if due to the time of year the bituminous
concrete mix plants are closed, a driveway completion security is
provided to the Town of Hebron to ensure that all work is completed
within a six-month period. Driveway completion security shall be in
the form of a certified check payable to the Town of Hebron in an
amount determined as follows:
B. Additional required driveway length to high point:
$10 per linear foot.
C. Driveway repairs: no bond required.
Should the owner fail to complete the driveway
improvements within the six-month time period beginning on the date
the certified check was provided to the Town of Hebron, the Town shall
utilize the funds to cause the required work to be completed. Any
funds remaining, after the deduction of costs incurred in causing
the improvements to be completed, including the reasonable administrative
cost incurred by the Town in doing so, shall be refunded to the owner.
If the cost of causing the improvements to be completed, including
the administrative costs incurred by the Town in doing so, exceeds
the amount of the fund, the owner shall be liable to the Town for
the excess.
