No street shall be accepted by the Borough unless and until street signs are erected and their design and construction approved, as provided in § 259-19.

No person shall lay out, construct, or install any street, whether public or private, unless he/she shall construct, install, or erect a street sign at each intersection of streets shown on the map or plan of land on which he/she is building, subject to the approval of the Public Works Committee[1] as to design and construction.

Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provisions of § 1-2, General penalty. Each period of 24 hours' violation shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.
