Every owner, lessee, tenant, occupant or other
person having possession or charge of any building or lot of ground
in the Incorporated Village of Munsey Park, abutting upon any street
or public place where the sidewalk is paved, shall, within eight hours
after snow ceases to fall, remove the snow or ice from the sidewalk,
the time between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. not being included in the
above period of eight hours.
Whenever any owner, lessee, tenant, occupant
or other person having possession or charge of any plot or lot of
ground in the incorporated Village of Munsey Park shall fail to comply
with the provisions of this article, the Incorporated Village of Munsey
Park may cause such removal to be made and the expense thereof shall
be certified by the Mayor and collected by suit in the name of the
Village if not paid to the Village Treasurer within five days after
demand.
