The sale, offering for sale or furnishing of any fireworks within the
Village is hereby prohibited.
The possession, use or explosion of any fireworks within the Village
is prohibited unless a permit allowing such possession, use or explosion of
such fireworks has previously been obtained from the Village and from any
other agency having jurisdiction over such possession, use or explosion.
Possession of fireworks valued at $50 or more shall be a presumption
that such fireworks were intended to be offered or exposed for sale.
Any person violating the provisions of this chapter or any part thereof
shall be liable for and forfeit and pay a penalty of not more than $250 for
each and every offense, and in addition thereto, such conduct shall constitute
and is hereby declared to be disorderly conduct, and any person violating
the same shall be and is hereby declared to be a disorderly person.
