In all places within the Code of the Town of Ontario, including any of the chapters previously adopted in the Code and any chapters to be adopted, where reference is made to a dollar amount for a fee, or to the establishment of a fee to be charged or collected by the Town of Ontario, such chapters shall read in place of the exact dollar figure: "a sum as set forth in the Town of Ontario Fee Schedule approved by resolution of the Town Board and on file with the Town Clerk.”
This article shall not apply to penalties for violations established by local law or ordinance for violation of any chapter of the Code of the Town of Ontario, or to tax exemptions, but shall only apply to fees to be collected under the various chapters of the Code.
To the extent this article is contrary to § 130 of the Town Law of the State of New York allowing a town board to enact an ordinance, rule or regulation providing for the collection of any reasonable uniform fee in connection therewith, § 130 is superseded by this article.
