Definitions for types of users shall be as follows:
A. "Residential users" are those who generate refuse
from their own household and nonbusiness sources.
B. A "Collector" is an individual or individuals who
collect refuse from residents and businesses within the town and charge
a fee for said service.
C. "Commercial users" are all others.
The sanitary landfill of the Town of Schodack
shall be open the following hours:

C. The sanitary landfill shall be closed all day Sunday,
Wednesday, Thursday and holidays, as posted. The following are town
holidays for calendar year 1989:

D. The Town Board is hereby authorized to change the
hours when the sanitary landfill shall be open, by resolution, and
a notice shall be posted at the landfill advising personnel of the
change in hours at least 10 days before such new hours take effect.
Landfill license stickers are to be permanently
affixed to and prominently displayed on the left front of vehicle,
such as to be plainly visible to anyone standing 10 feet in front
of the vehicle.
The following items must be separated and deposited
separately at the landfill, per direction of landfill personnel:
A. Bulky metal items, such as appliances, bathtubs, engines,
sinks, etc.
C. Timber greater than three feet in length.
D. Demolition materials, such as large quantities of
bricks, stumps, roofing, wood, brush, etc.
Each time a commercial user wishes to utilize
the Town of Schodack public sanitary landfill refuse disposal area,
he/she must, under the penalty of offering a false instrument for
filing, (Penal Law § 175.35) declare that it does not contain
prohibited materials, that it was collected only in the Town of Schodack
(citing specific job location) and shall pay the appropriate use fee
when billed.
In addition, collectors may not use the Schodack
landfill facility after January 31, 1987. In lieu thereof, the town
has entered into an agreement with the City of Troy to accept commercial
and residential wastes collected within the Town of Schodack. The
license fee for each collector vehicle utilized in the Town of Schodack
landfill during January and thereafter in Troy shall be $25. Said
permit shall be utilized for identification purposes at the Troy landfill.
All collectors doing business within the town are to purchase said
permit and must dispose of refuse collected within the Town of Schodack
at the Troy facility. The collector rate per cubic yard prior to January
31, 1987, shall be $10 and must be paid on cash-on-delivery basis.
Said fee shall be based on a full load for the maximum capacity.
Any violation of these rules and regulations
shall void tipping privileges.
