The salary of the Mayor of the Borough of Carlisle shall be the maximum salary permitted by law, as the same is amended from time to time, payable in equal monthly installments. For salary limits, see 53 P.S. § 46025.

A. 
The salaries of members of the Borough Council of the Borough of Carlisle other than the President of Council shall be the maximum salary permitted by law, as the same is amended from time to time, payable in equal monthly installments. For salary limits, see 53 P.S. § 46001.
B. 
The salary of the President of the Borough Council of the Borough of Carlisle shall be $1,000 more than the salary of a Council member, payable in equal monthly installments; subject, however, to any maximum salary permitted by law, as the same is amended from time to time.
