[The Doylestown Municipal Authority was created in 1978 for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining and operating the sewer and water systems of the Township. The original Articles of Incorporation were authorized by resolution of the Board of Supervisors on February 23, 1978, and amended on August 1, 1978, by Ord. No. 102. Copies of the Articles of Incorporation and relevant resolutions and ordinances are on file in the Township offices. Portions of the Township are also served by the sewer system of the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority; see Ch. 136, Sewers.]
