Fire prevention — See Ch. 80
The Building Officials and Code Administrators' Basic Fire Prevention Code/1981, Fifth Edition, is hereby adopted by the Borough of Glenolden, and all of the terms and provisions of the BOCA Basic Fire Prevention Code/1981 are hereby incorporated herein and adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes prescribed in § 81-2 of this chapter.
The following sections of the BOCA Basic Fire Prevention Code/1981, Fifth Edition, and Appendix C thereof are hereby revised to read as follows:
A. 
Section F-100.1, Title, shall be revised as follows:
F-100.1 Title: These regulations as set forth herein shall be known as the "Fire Prevention Code of the Borough of Glenolden," hereinafter referred to as such or as "this code."
B. 
Section F-105.5.1, Penalty for violations, shall be revised as follows:
F-105.5.1 Penalty for violations: Any person who shall violate a provision of this code or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof shall be guilty of a summary offense, punishable by a fine of not more than $300 or by imprisonment not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
C. 
Appendix C.
(1) 
The ordaining clause shall be revised as follows: "Be it ordained by the Borough of Glenolden as follows:"
(2) 
Section 1 shall be revised as follows:
Section 1. Adoption of fire control measures and regulations. There is hereby adopted by the Borough of Glenolden the fire control measures and regulations as herein set forth for the purposes of controlling conditions which could impede or interfere with fire suppression forces.
(3) 
Section 6 shall be revised as follows:
Section 6. Definition of authorized emergency vehicle. Authorized emergency vehicles shall be restricted to those which are defined and authorized under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania.
(4) 
Section 20 shall be revised as follows:
Section 20. Effective date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
