Adopted 2-9-1981 by Ord. No. 81-5 (Ch. 25 of the 1971 Code)
The Township of Marple hereby accepts the provisions of the Act of the General Assembly known as the "First Class Township Law," approved June 24, 1931, P.L. 1206, as amended, relating to the office of Township Treasurer-Tax Collector,[1] being Sections 510, 511, 801, 804, 806, 807 and 808.

Editor's Note: The First Class Township Code was amended in 2012 to separate the offices of Township Tax Collector and Township Treasurer.
Agreeably to the provisions of Section 34 of the Act known and cited as the "Local Tax Collection Law," the annual compensation of the Treasurer, as Treasurer and Tax Collector for the Township,[1] shall hereby be fixed in the sum of $10,000, effective January 4, 1982.

The Board of Commissioners hereby sets the annual compensation of the Township Tax Collector at $10,000 in accordance with the provisions of the Local Tax Collection Law and the First Class Township Code.[1]
