It shall be unlawful for any person, persons,
firm or corporation to use any park or recreational area owned, leased,
maintained or operated by the Township of Marple unless such person,
persons, firm or corporation complies strictly with the provisions
of this chapter.
A.
It shall be unlawful for any person, persons, firm
or corporation using any park or recreational area owned, leased,
maintained or operated by the Township of Marple to do any of the
following:
(1)
To build any fire anywhere in said park or recreational
area except in fireplaces provided for such purposes and Underwriters'
Laboratories, Inc., approved barbecues. Such fires shall be guarded
at all times and shall be extinguished before the person guarding
the same leaves.

(2)
To cut, mutilate or remove or destroy in any manner
whatsoever any trees, shrubbery, flowers, plants or wood.
(3)
To deface, mark, damage, remove or destroy any buildings,
posters, fences, gates, signs, trash receptacles or guardrailings
or any other park property in any manner whatsoever.

(4)
To use intoxicating drinks or beverages or to engage
in intoxication or to enter in an intoxicated condition, and to use
indecent language, to gamble or to conduct himself or herself in any
disorderly manner. The possession or use of alcoholic beverages on
the premises of the Paxon Hollow Country Club, except areas that are
expressly permitted by license, is prohibited.

(5)
To be accompanied by dogs or to permit the entry of dogs except when on leash. Dog owners must immediately remove their dog's droppings from public areas or be subject to a fine as described in § 196-3.

(6)
To litter grounds with refuse or to place refuse and
rubbish anywhere except in barrels and containers provided for that
purpose.
(7)
To park vehicles anywhere within such areas except in places designated for parking. The parking of any commercial vehicle (as defined in Article VI of Chapter 285 of the Code of the Township of Marple, incorporated herein by reference hereto) or business employee/customer parking is prohibited unless permission is obtained from the Township Manager.

(8)
To operate any motor vehicle at a speed in excess
of 15 miles per hour or in any manner that evidences the lack of due
care and regard for the safety of property or persons within said
area.
(9)
To use the park and recreational areas at any time
after sunset and before sunrise unless permission is first obtained
for an overnight camping privilege. Such privileges must be obtained
by permit from the Park and Recreation Board of the township by application
to the Township Manager.
(10)
No organized groups shall use the park and recreational
areas unless permit thereof is applied for and first obtained from
the Park and Recreation Board through the Township Manager.
(11)
To operate any minibikes, miniscooters and motorcycles
in any park or recreational area owned, leased, maintained or operated
by the Township of Marple. Entry and exit to designated parking areas
will be permitted by properly licensed operators operating properly
inspected and properly registered minibikes, miniscooters and motorcycles.

To hunt, trap or practice shooting any weapon
of any type.

C.
Dogs are allowed to be unleashed in Kent Park from
sunrise to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to sunset.

Any person, persons, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions or sections of this chapter shall, upon conviction
thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000, plus costs
of prosecution, and in default of payment of such fine and costs by
imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
