There is hereby created for the Township of
Upper Gwynedd the office of Township Manager.
The Board of Commissioners shall, by resolution,
appoint a Township Manager and establish his compensation. The term
of office shall expire not later than the date of the next succeeding
reorganization meeting of the Board of Commissioners.
The Township Manager shall act as the executive
officer of the Township under the direction and control of and in
accordance with policies established by the Board of Township Commissioners.
As such, he shall supervise the Township office and its staff and
the Township road maintenance crew. He shall perform such other duties
and have such other powers as the Board of Commissioners may, from
time to time, establish by resolution.
