Editor's Note: Former Art. I, Per Capita Tax, adopted 4-6-1966 by Ord. No. 1-1966, was repealed 12-27-1988 by Ord. No. 11-1988.
A. 
The elected Tax Collector of West Goshen Township ("Tax Collector") is hereby appointed, authorized and directed to act as the collector of delinquent taxes ("Delinquent Tax Collector") within West Goshen Township for taxes collected after the end of the tax year but before the taxes remaining unpaid are submitted to the Chester County Tax Claim Bureau for collection.
B. 
This appointment and authorization shall remain in effect until the Board of Supervisors, by ordinance, takes further action, as required by law.
C. 
In the event of a vacancy in the office of Tax Collector during the term of this appointment, the successor tax collector shall automatically succeed to the powers and duties set forth herein.
D. 
The Delinquent Tax Collector shall not be required to give additional bond on account of this appointment.
E. 
The Delinquent Tax Collector shall have all of the authority and power to collect delinquent Township taxes as is now vested by law in the Tax Collector with respect to the collection of nondelinquent Township taxes.
F. 
The Delinquent Tax Collector shall account to the Board of Supervisors for all delinquent tax collections made in the same manner as is required for the reporting of nondelinquent tax collections.
G. 
The Delinquent Tax Collector shall be compensated in the same manner as provided for collection of nondelinquent Township taxes within the Township.
