As used in this chapter, the following words
and phrases have the following meaning:
BULK WASTE ITEM
Bulk waste item shall include, but is not limited to, small
and large appliances, furniture, mattresses and box springs, carpeting
not to exceed 50 pounds per roll, doors, and windows. Bulk waste item
does not include construction and demolition materials, appliances
containing freon and/or refrigerant and kitchen or bathroom fixtures
such as sinks and toilets.

BUNDLED LANDSCAPE MATERIAL
Any gardening or landscaping materials which can be tied
in bundles of no more than three feet in length and two feet in diameter.
EXCLUDED REFUSE
A.
Any object of such size that it cannot be contained
in a thirty-two-gallon container and easily removed therefrom, such
as carpeting remnants, unbundled landscape material and large household
items.
B.
Any and all dirt, sand, stones, bricks, concrete,
catch basin contents, trees, tree branches, and wastes from construction
and repair operations, including construction, demolition, remodeling
and redecorating materials.
C.
Hazardous materials, as defined herein.
GARBAGE
Wastes resulting from the handling, preparation and cooking
of all types of food, including wastes from the handling, storage,
use and sale of produce and other edible materials.
GARBAGE AND REFUSE
Any refuse matter, trash, or garbage from residences, apartments,
multiple-unit dwellings, hotels, motels, rooming houses, business
places, and every other private or public building; not including
water-carried wastes, industrial wastes or any of the wastes collected
and disposed of by the municipal sewerage system.
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
Flammable, corrosive and toxic materials such as oil-based
paints, thinners, solvents, furniture polish, metal polish, rat poison,
flea spray, gasoline, kerosene, pesticides, herbicides, and similar.
REFUSE
Combustible trash (including but not limited to paper cartons,
boxes, wood), yard trimmings, metal, metal and composition cartons
and cans, glass, crockery and materials not excluded by the definition
of "excluded refuse."
