The United States Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (hereinafter "IRS"), routinely sets and fixes optional standard mileage rates (hereinafter "IRS mileage rate").

The Town Board of the Town of Maine hereby fixes and establishes the reimbursable mileage rate for Town employees, officers and officials for official Town business as the applicable IRS mileage rate. This shall include any and all changes to the IRS mileage rate.
Persons entitled to reimbursement for mileage under this article shall execute and file with the Maine Town Board a voucher, certified true and correct, in such form as the Maine Town Board shall required.
Any prior resolution or resolutions of the Town Board of the Town of Maine fixing and establishing mileage for Town employees, officers and officials are hereby repealed.
This article shall take effect immediately.
