A.
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any public
street or highway within the Village of Rye Brook during a snowstorm,
flood, fire or other public emergency which affects that portion of
the public street or highway upon which said vehicle is parked or
abandoned, said vehicle may be ordered removed by the Mayor or Chief
of Police of the Village of Rye Brook or peace officer in charge,
and the cost of such removal shall be a charge against the owner.
B.
When any vehicle is found unattended on any public
street or highway within the Village of Rye Brook where said vehicle
constitutes an obstruction to traffic, said vehicle may be ordered
removed by the Mayor or Chief of Police of the Village of Rye Brook
or peace officer in charge, and the cost of such removal shall be
charged against the owner.
