Town of Montgomery, NY Article I Parking Regulations

[Adopted 10-5-1971]

§ 225-1 Parking prohibited at all times.

There shall be no parking at any time on the following streets or parts of streets:

§ 225-2 Town Hall parking regulations.

A. The parking of vehicles for employees or persons having business in the Town Hall shall be permitted in the Town parking lot on Bracken Road, Montgomery, New York.[1]

B. The parking of vehicles by persons who do not have present business in the Town Hall shall be prohibited at all times.

C. The Supervisor of the Town of Montgomery or the Chief of Police or their agents may order that a vehicle illegally parked may be towed from the parking lot and stored in a lot provided by the Town or in a storage area provided by an independent garageman.

D. Any person convicted of violating this section may be punished by a fine not exceeding $50, plus all towing and storage charges incurred.

§ 225-2.1 Standing prohibited at all times.

There shall be no standing at any time on the following streets or parts of streets:
