The purpose of this chapter is to amend § 7-718
of the Village Law so as to provide for a Planning Board of five members
rather than seven and to establish the terms of the members because
of the additional work thrust upon the Planning Board as a result
of the planning activity undertaken by the Village of Owego.

The number of members of the Planning Board
for the Village of Owego hereafter appointed shall be five. The respective
terms of the members of the Board first appointed shall be one, two,
three, three, four, five and five years from and after their appointment.
