RA Districts are designed to encourage the preservation of buildings and their neighborhood characteristics in order that the cultural and educational values related to sites of historical significance shall remain a continuing part of the Village's heritage. The procedures contained in Article VI of this chapter and the regulations set forth in this article shall apply in all RA Districts so that the foregoing objectives can be achieved.
In an RA District, a building may be erected, altered or used and a lot or premises may be used for any of the following purposes and for no other:
A. 
All uses permitted in R2 Districts subject to all the provisions specified for such districts and those other special provisions contained in Article VI of this chapter; provided, however, that trailers, hotels and motels shall not be permitted in such district.
The building height regulations in an RA District shall be the same as required for R2 Districts and/or in accordance with provisions that may be required by procedures contained in Article VI of this chapter.
In an RA District, the lot area requirements shall be the same as required for R2 Districts and/or in accordance with provisions that may be required by procedures contained in Article VI of this chapter.
The maximum lot coverage permitted in an RA District shall be the same as permitted for R2 Districts and/or in accordance with provisions that may be required by procedures contained in Article VI of this chapter.
Yard requirements in an RA District shall be the same as required for R2 Districts and/or in accordance with provisions that may be required by procedures contained in Article VI of this chapter.
In an RA District, accessory building height, yards and coverage shall be the same as required in R2 Districts and/or in accordance with provisions that may be required by procedures contained in Article VI of this chapter.
