In an Apartment District the following regulations shall apply.
No building may be erected, altered or used and no lot or premises may be used except for:
A. 
One or more of the uses set forth in § 176-6 of Article III of this chapter.
B. 
Multiple dwelling or apartment house.
C. 
Community or group garage accessory to an apartment house or multiple dwelling so located on the lot that no part thereof will be nearer the street or streets on which the lot has any frontage than the wall of the building most distant from such street and most nearly parallel thereto.
The minimum lot area per family shall be 1,500 square feet per apartment.

No building shall exceed 2 1/2 stories or 31 feet in height.
In the case of single-family dwellings, the provisions of Article IV shall apply as to such single-family dwellings.
In the case of other buildings, the provisions of Article IV shall apply as to such other buildings.
As to multiple dwellings or apartment houses, the area occupied by the building shall not exceed 45% of the lot area, the front yard shall be not less than 15 feet in depth, the rear yard shall be not less than 25 feet and there shall be two side yards, one on each side of the building, the width of each of which shall be at least 15 feet.
In the case of multiple dwellings or apartment houses, there shall be provided off-street parking in the form of one hard surfaced parking space, at least 200 square feet in area for each apartment dwelling unit constructed.

Whenever an Apartment District borders on a residence district, there shall be provided, as a buffer, a stockade-type fence six feet in height in the Apartment District placed so as to obscure the view of the Apartment District from the residence. Said fence shall be maintained by the owner of the apartment house or multiple dwelling in accordance with Article XI, § 176-119. Said fencing shall conform to the requirements set forth under Article XII, § 176-140 of this chapter.
