A. 
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any highway within this Village during a snowstorm, flood, fire or other public emergency which affects that portion of the public highway upon which said vehicle is parked or abandoned, said vehicle may be removed by authority of the Superintendent of Public Works.
B. 
When any vehicle is found unattended on any highway within this Village where said vehicle constitutes an obstruction to traffic, said vehicle may be removed by authority of the Superintendent of Public Works.
C. 
When any vehicle is parked or abandoned on any highway within this Village where stopping, standing or parking is prohibited, said vehicle may be removed by authority of the Superintendent of Public Works.
After removal of any vehicle as provided in this article, the Superintendent of Public Works may store such vehicle in a suitable place at the expense of the owner. Such owner, or person in charge of the vehicle, may redeem the same upon payment to the Village Clerk-Treasurer of the amount of all expenses actually and necessarily incurred in effecting such removal. Such removal and storage charges shall be as set by the Village Board.

The Superintendent of Public Works shall without delay report the removal and the disposition of any vehicle removed as provided in this article to the Village Clerk-Treasurer and it shall be the duty of such Village Clerk-Treasurer to ascertain to the extent possible the owner of the vehicle or person having same charge, and to notify him of the removal and disposition of such vehicle and of the amount which will be required to redeem same.
A. 
Trucks, commercial vehicles, tractors, and tractor-trailer combinations are hereby excluded from the following highways within this Village:
(1) 
Delano Street between its intersection with Jefferson Street and Richland Road.
(2) 
Lake Street between the intersection of Lake Street and Jefferson Street, thence west to the Village line.

Maple Avenue, from the intersection of Jefferson Street to the southbound exit of Route 81.

B. 
The regulations established in this section shall not be construed to prevent the delivery or pickup of merchandise or other property along the highways from which such vehicles and combinations are otherwise excluded.
