City of Montello, WI Chapter 141 Businesses, Registration of

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Montello at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. II). Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ 141-1 Registration required.

All new businesses originating in the City of Montello must register said business with the office of the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer within 30 days of origination.

§ 141-2 Forms and fee.

The Municipal Clerk-Treasurer shall provide a registration form to the business that will require such information as the Common Council deems necessary as well as a registration fee of $10.

§ 141-3 Failure to register.

Any person, firm, or corporation failing to register with the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer shall be considered noncompliant and may be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter 1, § 1-4 of this Code.
