The Township has constructed from time to time storm drainage projects on private property deemed to be necessary as an improvement to its storm sewer system.
Upon completion of the project, the Township Engineer shall compute the assessment chargeable to each property owner benefitted or accommodated by the storm drainage system using an assessment method approved by the Township Solicitor.
The cost of the construction, engineering, inspection and all other related costs shall be assessed against the properties accommodated by the storm drainage system, and the assessments shall be payable in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Assessments, of the Code of the Township of Radnor.
The Township Solicitor is hereby authorized to draft and file the necessary papers to effect condemnation of any easements that may be required. The Township Engineer is hereby authorized to enter into negotiations with any property owners to effect payment of just compensation for required storm drainage easements.
