The EMS commander will be the senior ranking EMS person at the scene and will assist the incident commander at the command post in all matters involving medical requirements at the scene and coordinating mutual aid EMS agencies.
EMS service will include the following:
A. 
Render appropriate aid to any victims and transport.
B. 
Place MCI plan into effect as necessary.
C. 
Establish a medical monitoring station to monitor condition of emergency responders.
D. 
Notify area hospitals of type of hazardous materials involved and number of patients, etc.
E. 
Log all patients exposed to hazardous materials.
F. 
Assist in decontamination.
