[Adopted 2-14-1978 by L.L. No. 1-1978 (Subpart 1 1/2, Div. 3 1/2, of the 1974 Code)]
The Zoning Board of Appeals is hereby designated the board of review for the administration of the State Building Conservation and Fire Prevention Code and is empowered to carry out the provisions of this article.
Such Board shall have the power to vary or modify in whole or in part any provision or requirement of the State Building Conservation and Fire Prevention Code where practical difficulties or unnecessary hardships may result from enforcement thereof in accordance with the provisions of § 395 of the Executive Law[1] of the State of New York.
